The trial operation of the international road transportation along the Asian Highway Network Line 4 between China, Mongolia, and Russia departed from Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on September 22, Beijing time. It departed through the Takeshken Highway Port and entered the Bulgan Port in Mongolia. After passing through the Kobdo Province, Bayan Ulgai Province, and Chagannor Port, it entered the Tashanta Port, Altysk City, and Barnaur City in Russia, and finally arrived at the final destination of the trial operation - Novosibirsk. At around 14:00 local time on the 27th, the pick-up ceremony for the trial operation activity was held in Novosibirsk. Xuan Dengdian, Deputy Director of the Transport Service Department of the Ministry of Transport, stated at the pick-up ceremony that through this trial operation activity, the delegations of China, Mongolia, and Russia have gained a deeper understanding of the infrastructure, customs clearance, and economic and social development along the three countries, accumulating valuable experience for the subsequent official opening of international road direct transportation.
