Political and business professionals and scholars from 51 countries and regions gathered in the ancient city of Xi'an on the 22nd to jointly participate in the 2023 Eurasian Economic Forum. This open international platform for political, business, and academic dialogue has been held until its tenth session, and will continue to expand exchanges and cooperation between China and countries in the Eurasian region in multiple fields. It will play an important role in public diplomacy, policy coordination, investment promotion, and project docking. This forum was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, from 22nd to 24th, with the theme of "creating cooperation opportunities and seeking the future", and with the purpose of "relying on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, serving the construction of the 'the Belt and Road', implementing the results of the China Asia Summit, and promoting local economic development", invited SCO member countries, observer countries, dialogue partner countries to jointly build the "the Belt and Road" national and regional dignitaries, ministerial officials, local provincial governors Representatives of important international organizations, ambassadors of relevant countries to China, representatives of friendly cities at home and abroad, leaders of multinational corporations, experts and scholars, and other guests attended the conference. The 2023 Eurasian Economic Forum Economic and Trade Cooperation Expo and China (Shaanxi) Import and Export Commodity Exhibition also opened on the same day, with an exhibition area of 72000 square meters. It includes a theme exhibition area for the five Central Asian countries, an international import exhibition area, an export exhibition area, a key industry chain exhibition area, and an emergency industry exhibition area. During the 4-day exhibition period, the organizer provides exhibitors with various forms and multiple sessions of interactive activities such as economic and trade matchmaking meetings, product promotion meetings, and live marketing, building a bridge for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. Established with the approval of the State Council, the Eurasian Economic Forum is a large institutional foreign-related forum, with SCO countries as the main body, facing the vast Eurasian region. Launched in 2005, it is held every two years. Now, it has become one of the important platforms to jointly build the "the Belt and Road", and has achieved fruitful results in strengthening connectivity, carrying out international production capacity cooperation, building investment and trade platforms, and so on.
