Education is a major issue facing contemporary education, especially for students who have just entered high school. After experiencing the high school entrance examination, their consciousness and emotions began to be implicit, showing strong autonomy in psychology and behavior. They did not agree with adult preaching and wanted to break free from the constraints of the "system". In my over 20 years of work as a homeroom teacher, I have gradually developed a "seven heart" strategy for connecting learning stages based on the psychological characteristics of first year high school students. To cultivate students' character through class culture, it is necessary to prioritize culture in building new classes. A class is like a band, and if you want to play harmonious music, you need to set a "tune" for the band, which is the class culture. When the new class was established, I brainstormed with my students to think about the class name. One child proposed the pinyin "zhi cheng", while others made annotations. The class culture formed: "zhi cheng" can be "united as one city", and the class will be as indestructible as the Great Wall; It can be 'Zhicheng', where young people work together to achieve their aspirations... Every student writes in their diary 'Zhi Cheng's promise, a lifelong promise'. Together with the students, we choose the class name, design the class emblem, and write the class song. Through the activity, we reached a consensus that the class culture is condensed into the value of the class, becoming the code of conduct for every student, and an important foundation for triggering their individual spiritual growth. Nurturing students' souls through self demonstration, I have always demanded that students be sincere in their studies and always remind themselves to give good examples to their students. One is to cherish every heart with sincerity. There is a boy in the class who is very irritable, has no friends and goes alone. In order to protect students' self-esteem, I learned about their growth experience through WeChat: growing up with a rough father, not understanding how to get along with others, and suffering from long-term stomach problems. So I became his friend and "granary", and gradually, he began to understand how to care for others, control emotions, and make friends in the class. There was a child in the class whose parents passed away, and there was no one to accompany him during the adulthood ceremony. I wrote a letter to the child in the tone of my parents, accompanying him across the adult gate... Over time, the children called me "Haiyan Mom". The second is to accompany everyone with sincerity. Every day, I would arrive at the class early and greet the children with a smile. I would take a lunch break with them in the class at noon and study with them at night. I would carefully observe their emotional changes, engage in heart-to-heart conversations in a timely manner, and patiently guide their growth. As a student, I have had the effect of 'dripping into my heart' over time. Providing students with life wisdom requires tacit understanding in the class, which comes from the daily encouragement of teachers. I told my students that there is a '5 minute rule', which means that no matter what you do, you must be 5 minutes ahead of the designated time and set an example first. Therefore, in my class, tardiness is very rare. In my daily life, I often express my attitude and reason clearly through metaphors, which makes my students sincerely convinced. Early love in high school is a phenomenon that cannot be ignored. I use the withered flowers in my class as an excuse to educate students: "Expectations before flowers bloom are the most beautiful, and high school love is like these flowers. Beyond the beauty of expectations, it will be a great regret in life."
