The reporter learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Group that at 12:30 on September 10th, the Long March 6 carrier rocket ignited and took off at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, and then successfully put the Remote Sensing 40 satellite into the predetermined orbit. The launch mission of "One Arrow Three Stars" has achieved complete success. The Remote Sensing No. 40 satellite was developed by the Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd. of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group, and is mainly used for electromagnetic environment detection and related technical experiments. The Long March 6 carrier rocket was developed by the Eighth Institute of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. The rocket is a two pole and half configuration, with the first and second stages using non-toxic and pollution-free liquid oxygen kerosene propellant, and four 2-meter diameter two-stage solid boosters bundled together. It is reported that the rocket has a capacity of over 4.5 tons in a 700 kilometer solar synchronous orbit. This launch is the 487th launch of the Long March carrier rocket series. (New News Agency)
