It is understood that in 2022, the entire industry output value of China's new display industry exceeded 490 billion yuan, of which the output value of display devices was 367.1 billion yuan, and the shipping area reached 160 million square meters. Display technology is accelerating iteration, innovative products are constantly emerging, and new display products are accelerating integration with emerging industries such as 5G communication, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, helping various industries accelerate digital and intelligent transformation. At the opening ceremony, authoritative institutions and well-known enterprises both domestically and internationally released the "China New Display Industry High Quality Development Index (2023)", the "Top Ten Innovative Technologies (Products) and Applications" of the 2023 World Display Industry Conference, and the "Chengdu Declaration on Promoting the Green and High Quality Development of the New Display Industry". Zhang Li, President of the China Institute of Electronic Information Industry Development, stated in the release of the "China New Display Industry High Quality Development Index (2023)" that from 2012 to 2022, the annual compound growth rate of China's display industry scale reached 21.6%. From the overall evaluation of the index, China's display industry exhibits characteristics such as growth, periodicity, and agglomeration. At the meeting, 13 leading domestic and foreign display industry enterprises, including BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd., Applied Materials Co., Ltd., AGC Co., Ltd., Merck China, and Vicino Technology Co., Ltd., jointly issued the "Chengdu Declaration on Promoting the Green and High Quality Development of the New Display Industry", calling for the creation of a good industrial development environment and the promotion of green and high-quality development of the new display industry.
