On September 5th, Zhang Jun, the Secretary of the Party Group and President of the Supreme People's Court, who is also the Vice Principal of the Rule of Law at Beijing No.2 Middle School, gave the first lesson on the rule of law titled "Improving Self Protection Ability, Strengthening Family School Collaboration to Protect Youth and Sail Away" to teachers, students, and parents of Beijing No.2 Middle School. Family and school are the main places of activity for minors, and they are also the main influencing factors during the formation of personality and values. The revised and implemented Minors Protection Law in 2021 proposes the "six major protections" for minors - family protection, school protection, social protection, network protection, government protection, and judicial protection. Among them, the most basic and important are family protection and school protection. The role of family and school protection is also inseparable from the integration and promotion of judicial protection. Based on this, the theme of this lecture has been determined based on in-depth research. At the appointment ceremony before the lecture, Zhang Jun took over the letter of appointment from Xue Lixia, the principal of Beijing No.2 Middle School, stating that "the mission is glorious and we will strive to fulfill the responsibilities of the vice principal of the rule of law.
