However, any economy cannot do without the support of culture. How should we understand and grasp the relationship between culture and economy? Pang Jinju: Generally speaking, economy refers to the social production and reproduction activities of human society based on material production, including production, distribution, exchange, and consumption. Culture can be divided into broad and narrow senses. The broad sense of culture refers to the sum of material and spiritual wealth created by human society in the process of historical development, while the narrow sense of culture refers to the forms of social consciousness (philosophy, politics, law, art, morality, etc.) as well as the corresponding systems and organizational structures. The economy, as the most fundamental activity for human survival and development, arises and develops simultaneously with the emergence and development of humanity; Culture, whether in a broad or narrow sense, arises and develops along with human socio-economic activities. From the general law of human social development, economic development determines cultural development, and culture is a reflection of a certain socio-economic form and significantly affects socio-economic development. The two interact and jointly promote the progress of human society. The Marxist discourse on the relationship between economic foundation and superstructure is the fundamental principle for understanding and grasping the relationship between culture and economy. It should be pointed out that culture can be divided into advanced culture and backward culture. Advanced culture plays a positive and promoting role in economic development, while backward culture hinders or even destroys economic development. In the history of our country, there has been a tradition of "compiling classics during prosperous times" and "compiling essays during prosperous times". On the basis of economic prosperity and social stability, we compile classics and strengthen cultural construction, while also promoting economic prosperity and social development through cultural construction. This contains a profound philosophy of mutual promotion between culture and economy.
