Libreville News: On the afternoon of August 31st, the spokesperson of Gabon's "Institutional Transition and Recovery Commission", Manfuby, announced on national television that the chairman of the commission, Brice Olivier Nguema, will be sworn in as the transitional leader at the Presidential Palace on September 4th. Mangfubi said that Nguema has decided to temporarily restore the Constitutional Court, gradually establish transitional institutions, and restart domestic flights. Nguema also demanded that Canadian government departments immediately resume work to ensure the normal operation of public service institutions. Mangfubi did not specify the specific duration of the transition period.
