On August 30th, the reporter learned that five departments including the National Development and Reform Commission have recently issued a notice on the layout and construction of modern circulation strategic pivot cities, including 102 cities in the scope of layout and construction. Among them, 24 cities such as Beijing and Tianjin are "comprehensive circulation pivot cities", 29 cities such as Shijiazhuang and Taiyuan are "composite circulation pivot cities", and 49 cities such as Langfang and Baoding are "functional circulation pivot cities". It is reported that modern circulation strategic pivot cities highlight national needs and city strengths, and are arranged in three dimensions: serving the circulation of important goods and resource elements, strengthening cross-border radiation and driving, and promoting the development of modern circulation. Taking into account urban resource endowment, development foundation, comparative advantages, and future potential, 102 cities will be included in the layout and construction scope, covering 31 provinces, regions, and cities across the country as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The construction of circulation pivot cities will be classified into comprehensive, composite, and functional types, and the urban people's governments will play a leading role in deploying and promoting, striving to improve their own development level and enhance their radiative driving role. The National Development and Reform Commission stated that the layout and construction of circulation pivot cities is conducive to better leveraging the advantages of relevant cities with good circulation development foundation and strong radiative driving ability. From the perspective of "big circulation", it promotes the integrated development of commercial flow, logistics, information flow, and capital flow, promotes tight connection between production and consumption, accelerates the formation of a modern circulation network with smooth internal and external connections, and better serves the modern industrial system supported by the real economy.
