Recently, the National Copyright Administration, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Internet Information Office jointly launched the "Jianwang 2023" special action to combat online infringement and piracy. This is the 19th continuous special action to combat online infringement and piracy nationwide. Since 2005, the National Copyright Administration and other departments have continuously carried out special rectification measures to address the hot and difficult issues of online infringement and piracy, effectively combating and deterring online infringement and piracy, standardizing the order of online copyright, and receiving full recognition from domestic and foreign rights holders. This special action was carried out from August to November, focusing on the most direct and practical interests and urgent specific issues that the people are most concerned about in the field of copyright. We continuously deepen the special rectification of network copyright in key areas, and fully leverage the important role of copyright protection in building a new development pattern, promoting cultural innovation and creation, meeting people's cultural needs, and promoting high-quality development. The special action will focus on three main aspects to carry out key rectification: firstly, with a focus on sports events, on-demand cinemas, and cultural and creative industries, we will strengthen the special rectification of copyright in professional fields and standardize the order of online dissemination copyright. The second is to focus on online videos, online news, and audiobooks, strengthen the full chain copyright protection of works, and promote the establishment of a good online ecosystem. The third is to focus on e-commerce platforms, browsers, and search engines, strengthen copyright supervision on website platforms, and compact the main responsibility of website platforms.
