In October 1973, Yuan Longping's team announced the successful matching of three lines of Chinese indica hybrid rice. A seed, moving from Huaihua to the world, has also changed the world. The original ethnic music concert of "One Seed Changes the World" will present seven original music works, including "Fragrant Rice Flowers", "Mom, Rice is Ripe", "Passage to Soldiers", "Snowy Peaks in Southern China", "Beyond the Mountains is the Sea", "New Rhyme of Five Rivers", and "Beautiful Countryside", and incorporate Huaihua local ethnic elements such as Miao ethnic songs, Dong ethnic songs, and Yuanshui chants.
