Recently, the head office reporter learned from the Henan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology that there has been a new discovery in the ancient city of Zheng and Han in Xinzheng. Archaeologists have discovered a chime sacrificial pit at the site of the Yellow Emperor's hometown. Yu Jie from the Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology introduced that the sacrificial pit for chimes at the site is 2.6 meters long from east to west, 1.4 meters wide from north to south, and 0.8 meters deep. There are three rows of bell racks unearthed in the pit, totaling 24 chimes, including 4 chimes and 20 button bells. Ten chimes make up one set, totaling two sets. The chime bells are well preserved and have not been disturbed by theft. The wooden frame is clearly visible, dating back to the mid to late Spring and Autumn period. Archaeologists also discovered two noble tombs, M22 and M33, located near the palace area of Zheng during the Spring and Autumn period. The shape of the tomb is a vertical pit with one coffin, one outer coffin, and two outer coffins. Complete bronze ritual vessels have been unearthed, consisting of Ding 3, Fu 4, Dun 1, Zhou 1, Pan 1, and 匜 1. Except for the bronze Fu, the shape and combination of the bronze ritual vessels in the two tombs are basically the same. Yu Jie introduced that the discovery of aristocratic tombs near the palace area of Zheng was the first time in the ancient city of Zheng and Han. These two tombs are of high rank and well preserved, which is very rare in the archaeological discoveries of the ancient city of Zheng and Han over the years and has important academic value.
