The "Heping" was the second reign title of Emperor Cheng of Han, Liu Ao, during the Western Han Dynasty. The first year of Heping was 28 BC. The naming of this type of artifact has been mentioned as "Tiliang You", "You", "Tiliang Zun", "Jiu Zun", "Tiliang Lian", "Zun", "Lian", "Lian shaped vessel", and "Three legged Tiliang cylindrical vessel", but the naming issue has always been unresolved. In the first year of the Heping reign, the bronze vessel was self inscribed as "鋞", which clarified the name of this type of artifact and solved the naming problem of similar artifacts. This is also an important manifestation of the value of this artifact. The bronze figurine from the first year of Heping in the Western Han Dynasty, which was collected by the National Museum of China, is inscribed on the outer wall with the inscription "Supplied for Gongchang to make copper figurines in the first year of Heping". Ying Ni, Zhao Tong, Lin Gao, and Wang Chao are enthusiastic about public welfare cultural undertakings. After purchasing the device in the domestic auction market, they decided to jointly donate it to the National Museum and donate all the donated prize money of over 270000 yuan to the China National Museum Development Foundation in Beijing. At the collection ceremony, Yang Fan, on behalf of the National Museum, issued collection certificates to Tong Linggao and Wang Chao respectively, expressing sincere gratitude for their donation. He pointed out that the collection of the copper bronze is of great significance for enriching the collection system of the National Museum and improving the quality of the collection. The National Museum will definitely keep, study, and display this cultural relic well.
