Rong Xinjiang, President of the Chinese Dunhuang Turpan Society and Professor of Peking University, introduced that the "Dunhuang Literature Systematic Protection, Sorting and Publishing Project" is chaired by the National Leading Group for the Planning and Publishing of Ancient Books, and is jointly promoted and implemented by the academic, cultural, and publishing communities. The early "Complete Collection of Dunhuang Documents" will be published in a high-definition and full-color manner, with high-level integration and high-quality systematic collection of Dunhuang documents from around the world. Not only do we use high-definition color plates to photocopy the documents themselves, but we also need to absorb research results from both domestic and foreign sources to determine the accurate names of each document. Currently, the editing and publishing work of the "Dunhuang Western Regions Documents in the French National Library Collection," "Dunhuang Relics in the Chinese National Library Collection," and "Dunhuang Documents in Gansu Collection," is progressing in an orderly manner The work related to the collection of Dunhuang literature by the Eastern Literature Research Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia has also been included in the agenda. Collection units such as the Palace Museum, Chongqing Museum, and Liaoning Provincial Museum that have previously published black and white or color plates will also reorganize and publish relevant content. In addition to the "Complete Collection of Dunhuang Documents", the "Systematic Protection, Sorting, and Publishing Project of Dunhuang Documents" also includes contents such as the "Dictionary of Dunhuang Document Language", the "Complete Collection of Dunhuang Document Conjugation", and the "Interpretation of Dunhuang Social and Historical Documents in English Collection". "With the completion of this project, the academic community of Dunhuang Studies will also jointly build a magnificent building for Dunhuang research," Rong Xinjiang said.
