Not long ago, Xue Yun, the head nurse and civilian staff member of the Tumor Hematology Department at the Air Force Hospital of the Western Theater Command, carried out a routine consumables reconciliation work in the department. I have tested my professional ability and political literacy in daily work and major tasks. Later, the position of the former head nurse in the oncology and hematology department was adjusted, and after comprehensive consideration by the organization, it was decided to appoint me as the head nurse. From a nurse to a head nurse, although there is only a word difference, their responsibilities vary greatly. In addition to doing their job well, they also have to take on corresponding responsibilities such as education and management. I feel a heavy burden on my shoulders, and I am determined to play a good role and not disappoint the cultivation and trust of the organization. However, it is easier said than done. The management of the oncology and hematology department has always had high standards and strict requirements, and is the flag and benchmark of the hospital. In order to be competent as soon as possible, I consulted with some leaders and seniors, who told me that establishing credibility is the foundation for playing a leading role. How to establish credibility as soon as possible? I thought at the time that most of the department nurses were civil servants who got along well. If I still got along with them like before, I might not be able to "suppress" them and have difficulty speaking effectively.
