The conference is hosted by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (hereinafter referred to as the "World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies") and adopts a combination of offline and online methods, with simultaneous interpretation in both Chinese and English throughout the entire process, and a global live broadcast. Traditional Chinese medicine has been registered as a drug in countries such as Russia, Cuba, Vietnam, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines. Acupuncture and moxibustion, Taijiquan and Tibetan medicine bath methods of traditional Chinese medicine were included in the List of Representative Works of Human Intangible Cultural Heritage, and the classics of traditional Chinese medicine, Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine and Compendium of Materia Medica, were included in the Memory of the World List. As the largest international academic organization of traditional Chinese medicine in the world, the World Federation of Chinese Medicine continues to play an important role in the deep participation of traditional Chinese medicine in global health governance.
