The picture shows the Dongjia Wind and Rain Bridge in Liping County, Guizhou Province. On August 15th, Gong Xiaoyong photographed Zhang Guodan, a girl born in the 1990s in Sanlong Dong Village, gathering the village's singers on the windy and rainy bridge by the river. The singers sang Dong ethnic songs while Zhang Guodan recorded with a recording pen. Zhang Guodan told reporters that her father is a recorder of the local Dong culture. After her father's death, she accidentally opened her father's computer folder and "saw that his father left a lot of precious Dong songs and images, and also found his unfinished Dong dramas in his notebook." So, she decided to stay in the countryside, learn from his father, record and inherit Dong culture. In summer, after dinner, villagers would sit on the Fengyu Bridge, blowing the wind and chatting. Zhang Guodan said, "My father is no exception. He sets up a camera and learns how Dong culture has been passed down from the mouths of his elders." The Wind and Rain Bridge in the village is not only a place for singers to sit and sing, but also a place for villagers to rest, chat, and communicate with each other. Zhong Kai has been exposed to wind and rain for decades, washing away dust and frost, while the ancient tiles are still there... As he travels to the Sanlong Dong Village, he looks at the Wind and Rain Bridge from afar. There is a bridge roof similar to the Dong Drum Tower, and the buildings are connected by a long corridor. Taking a closer look at the Wind and Rain Bridge, the ceiling of the building is decorated with patterns such as dragons, phoenixes, cranes, and cows. The eaves on the inner side of the corridor are covered with panels, depicting historical character stories, production and life scenes of Dong people, as well as murals of mountains, rivers, flowers, and plants. Most Dong villages are built along the river, and each village has a Wind and Rain Bridge. There are more than ten Wind and Rain Bridges in Sanlong Dong Village, showcasing the production and life style of Dong people and connecting them together. Fengyu Bridge is a common "functional building" in the densely populated areas of southern China, mainly serving the transportation, communication, exchange, and integration of people on both sides of the river. During the construction process of the Wind and Rain Bridge, there is no need for a nail or rivet. The entire series of wooden materials are chiseled and tenoned to connect, cross and vertically inserted. In order to extend the bridge's lifespan and protect its safety, pavilions, corridors, and pavilions are built on the bridge deck, forming a unique design that not only serves functional needs, but also brings artistic enjoyment to people. In Guizhou, there are many wind and rain bridges like the Sanlong Dong Village, especially in the Miao and Dong regions represented by Qiandongnan. In the view of Ma Yongbin, a second level researcher at the History Research Institute of the Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences, the Fengyu Bridge embodies the inherent beauty of protecting human reproduction, promoting distance and distance integration, showcasing wealth and harmony, and expressing cultural individuality in local society. Therefore, with the continuous progress of the economy and society, especially the rise of cultural tourism, the bridge deck architecture, volume, form, structure, and aesthetics of the Fengyu Bridge are more than in ancient times a hundred years ago, More prominent national and regional characteristics, becoming a cultural symbol that people respect and take pride in.
