Recently, the High people's court of Guangdong Province held a forum for the presidents of the provincial intermediate courts, focusing on the overall implementation of the spirit of the national seminar for justices, focusing on the theme of "fairness and efficiency", comprehensively deploying and promoting the modernization of trial work, and striving to ensure the practice of Chinese path to modernization in Guangdong with the modernized service of trial work. The case settlement ratio has increased by 2.4%, reaching a new high of 116% in the second quarter in five years. The first and second instance litigation rates have increased by 7% and 3.3%, respectively. The quality and efficiency of trials have continued to improve, showing a good trend of "continuous slowdown in the growth rate of case closure, continuous improvement in the efficiency of case closure, and a significant decrease in outstanding cases".
