The Great Wall Museum of China, located in the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area in Yanqing, Beijing, announced the collection of cultural relics on the 25th, officially soliciting cultural relics at home and abroad. The collection time is now effective for a long time. It is reported that the renovation and upgrading project of the Great Wall Museum of China has been fully launched with the approval of the Beijing Leading Group for Promoting the Construction of National Cultural Centers. In order to comprehensively display the history and culture of the Great Wall, fully tap the Cultural resource management of the Great Wall, and upgrade the exhibition level, the China Great Wall Museum urgently needs to further enrich its cultural relics collection and improve its collection system. This collection of cultural relics involves reflecting the construction and development process of the Great Wall site in various historical periods of ancient China, including materials and techniques, shape patterns, construction management, historical evolution, rare copies of ancient books, archival catalogs, rubbings and prints, as well as physical objects, photos and literature materials, and construction tools. On the same day, the Great Wall Museum of China signed donation agreements with 8 donors and issued donation certificates, publicly accepting the first batch of social donations, including the Three Eyes Firearm, Great Wall stamps, and old photos of the Great Wall. The Great Wall Museum of China was completed and opened in 1994, receiving approximately 10 million visitors from both China and foreign countries since its opening. (New News Agency)
