Discovery of an Ancient Tomb from the Later Liang Dynasty in Xinhe, Hebei Province, 1116 years ago

According to the Kwalliso of Cultural Relics Protection in Xinhe County, Hebei Province, on the 23rd, construction workers from the county's Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently found an ancient tomb while dredging the river. According to the Epitaph, the epitaph was engraved in the first year of Kaiping, Houliang, 1116 years ago. The picture shows the Epitaph unearthed from an ancient tomb of the Houliang period in Xinhe County, Hebei Province on July 21. The ancient tomb of Li Shiqiang is located in the Xisha River channel of Guxian Village, Xiliu Township, Xinhe County. It faces south and is a domed circular brick chamber tomb with a tomb passage. The upper part is missing, and the bottom is fully preserved. The south facade of the coffin bed is carved with seven sets of brick doors made of blue bricks, and the tomb walls on both sides of the coffin bed are lined with brick doors with imitation wood structures. There is a Epitaph on the south side of the coffin. The cover and stone are clasped together. They are made of blue stone and are well preserved. The top surface of the record cover is 31cm long and 31cm wide, and it is engraved with nine large characters, "Epitaph of Zhao Fujun, who died in the Liang Dynasty". The edge of the stone is 44.5 centimeters long, 45 centimeters wide, and 8 centimeters high. Zhiwen has over 640 words, with beautiful writing and harmonious sound. The inscription records that the owner of the tomb, Zhao Fujun, was from Tianshui, Gansu. His ancestors served as the Minister of the Jin Dynasty, and his descendants moved to Tangyang (now Xinhe County). During the cleaning and excavation of the ancient tomb, cultural and cultural protection personnel at the city and county levels also discovered fragments of white glazed kui mouth porcelain bowls.
