In Beijing, the Longfu Temple, built in 1452, is becoming a new cultural space integrating theater, art gallery and shared office area, providing innovative cultural content and diversified Urban culture lifestyle; In Xi'an, the "Chang'an Twelve Hour" block located in Qujiang New District creates a new consumption complex composed of "popular dramas+immersive entertainment+theme catering+China-Chic products" by injecting relevant film and television elements into the real space; In Shenzhen, Gankeng "Hakka Town", located in Longgang District, has launched a series of cultural and tourism projects with rich connotation relying on the characteristic Hakka culture resources... With the comprehensive empowerment of cultural industry by digital technology, a number of new cultural formats have emerged, enriching people's spiritual life, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of cultural industry and high-quality development. The accelerated release of consumption potential and the development of new cultural formats have embarked on a fast track, maintaining a strong growth trend. On June 29th, the National Bureau of Statistics released the "2022 National Report on the Development of Culture and Related Industries". This is the first time that the National Bureau of Statistics has released annual statistical data on the cultural industry in the form of a report. The report shows that with the deepening implementation of the national cultural digitization strategy, the rapid development of new cultural industries characterized by digitization, networking, and intelligence has become an important support for promoting the high-quality development of China's cultural industry. In 2022, 16 industries with obvious characteristics of new cultural formats achieved a revenue of 5010.6 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7% compared to the previous year, and a growth rate of 5.7 percentage points faster than all cultural industries. The operating revenue of the cultural new industry accounted for 30.3% of the total operating revenue of the cultural industry, accounting for more than 30% for the first time, an increase of 1.6 percentage points compared to the previous year. These data are also quite close to the feelings of many practitioners: in recent years, the scale and integration of digital Cultural resource management have been significantly accelerated, and the development of digital cultural industry has a strong driving force. "China's economy has continued to recover steadily, the potential of cultural consumption has been accelerated, the leading role of new cultural formats has been enhanced, Chinese culture and related industries have shown a good development trend, and the operating income of cultural enterprises has maintained a rapid growth," said Zhang Peng, senior Statistician of the Social Science and Culture Department of the National Bureau of Statistics. Digital technology promotes cultural innovation Today, digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, 5G, Big data, and the Internet of Things are developing rapidly, constantly enriching people's experience of culture. For example, the dance poem drama "The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting" of CCTV Spring Festival Gala not only hides the beauty of thousands of miles of rivers and mountains, but also gives people a new experience; The "Digital Sutra Cave" launched by the Dunhuang Research Academy uses digital twin technology, 3D modeling technology, 4k high-definition rendering and other digital technologies to reproduce grottoes and murals, which can show the depth and breadth of Dunhuang culture on one screen; Tencent's "Digital Great Wall" utilizes high-precision scanning modeling, digital surveying, real-time rendering and other digital technologies to restore the grandeur and boldness of the Great Wall on mobile phones... Digital technology has given birth to unprecedented cultural landscapes. Digital technology fully empowers the cultural industry, and new cultural formats continue to develop and grow. This not only improves people's cultural experience, promotes related cultural consumption, but also effectively promotes the transformation, upgrading, and structural optimization of China's cultural industry.
