After concluding the visit to Nigeria, the 43rd convoy of the Chinese Navy arrived in Libreville, Gabon, on the 8th, and began a four-day friendly visit to Gabon. At 9:00 a.m. local time, the formation ships flying the national flags of China and Gabon slowly docked at the port of Ovundo. More than 300 people, including Chinese Ambassador to Gabon Li Jinjin, staff of the Embassy, local Chinese funded institutions, representatives of Overseas Chinese, Secretary General of Gabon's Ministry of Defense Peng Ji, and representatives of officers and soldiers, greeted them at the port. The formation of officers and soldiers lined up neatly on the deck, waving to the welcoming crowd. During their visit to Gabon, the formation commander will visit senior military and civilian officials and visit the local children's welfare home. The formation officers and soldiers will engage in cultural and military exchanges with the Gabonese Navy, participate in military and civilian cultural gatherings organized by the Chinese Embassy in Gabon, and attend farewell receptions organized by the Gabonese Navy.
