▲ At 19:00 on July 9, China used the Long March 2C at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center to successfully launch the satellite Internet technology test satellite. The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. Xinhua News Agency (Wang Jiangbo) learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Co., Ltd. that at 19:00 this evening, the Long March 2C/Expedition 1S carrier rocket ignited and took off at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and then successfully sent the satellite Internet technology test satellite into the scheduled orbit, making the launch mission a complete success. The Long March 2C/Yuanzheng 1S carrier rocket for this mission was developed by the First Institute of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. In this mission, the rocket first realized the interconnection between the Beijing remote test network system and the remote auxiliary test and launch system of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. In the Beijing Remote Measurement and Control Hall, remote auxiliary support can be provided for rocket assembly, test and launch at the launch site, reducing the time cost for personnel to and from the launch site, and improving the launch efficiency. Compared to the past, the upper stage of the Expeditionary No.1 S in this mission adopts a new curved grid transition segment, which reduces weight by 35% and improves the rocket's carrying capacity. For the first time, the measurement system adopts a space-based integrated measurement and control mode, which can freely switch between space-based and ground-based measurement and control times. It has the ability to measure and control without blind spots throughout the entire process, greatly improving task adaptability. The satellite internet technology test satellite launched this time was developed by the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. This launch is the 478th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets. (New News Agency)
