The auxiliary piers and transition piers of Huangmaohai Bridge and Gaolan Minato Bridge, as well as the piers of the middle approach bridge, all adopt the integral TY type piers, with the maximum height of 60 meters and the cap beam length of 37.4 meters, which are relatively rare in the field of bridge construction. Compared to the segmented pier, the use of the full width TY type pier not only reduces the number of pile foundations and pier bodies, significantly improves the anti ship collision ability of the pier, but also maintains the same design style as the 'small waist on the sea' main tower, achieving a beautiful and stable effect.
