The pace of industrial cluster construction has accelerated, forming a group of advanced manufacturing and strategic emerging industry clusters with national influence. Among them, there are 45 national advanced manufacturing clusters, with a cluster output value exceeding 20 trillion yuan in 2022. The first batch of 66 national strategic emerging industry clusters. The new generation of information technology is developing rapidly. China has built a total of 2.84 million 5G base stations and integrated 5G applications into 60 out of 97 major categories of the national economy. In 2022, the annual production of industrial robots reached 443000 sets, with the global total installed capacity accounting for over 50%. Key components of clean energy equipment such as photovoltaic modules and wind turbines account for 70% of the global market share. The annual sales of new energy vehicles have reached over 6.8 million units, ranking first in the world for 8 consecutive years. New energy vehicles have accounted for over 1/4 of the total sales of new vehicles. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that China has always adhered to the concept of open cooperation in the development of emerging industries, and encouraged and supported international exchanges and cooperation at all levels of government, industry, academia, and research. China and ASEAN have strong complementarity in emerging industries and a strong willingness for communication and cooperation among enterprises. In recent years, a number of high-level projects have been promoted in fields such as digital economy, photovoltaic, and new energy vehicles, demonstrating broad development prospects.
