The Capital Planning and Construction Committee held its 45th plenary meeting in Beijing on July 3rd. The meeting emphasized the need to effectively fulfill the responsibilities and missions assigned to the First Planning Committee by the Party Central Committee. Doing a good job in the planning and construction of the capital is the main responsibility of Beijing and the joint responsibility of member units of the First Planning Commission. The First Planning Committee should fully play its role in ensuring quality, managing key areas, and strengthening supervision, and promptly study and solve major problems in the implementation of the capital plan. Beijing firmly implements the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, actively communicates with member units, strengthens investigation and research, effectively solves problems, and promotes work. The member units of the First Planning Committee should take the lead in implementing the plan, implement the plan implementation tasks well, and support the work of Beijing. The First Planning Committee Office should strengthen the supervision and inspection of the implementation of the plan, make good use of the communication, discussion and coordination platform, and promote the implementation of all aspects. In case of major issues in the implementation of the plan, it is necessary to ask for instructions and report to the Party Central Committee in a timely manner, and resolutely maintain the Seriousness and authority of the plan. The meeting reviewed and approved documents such as the "Summary of Work of the Capital Planning and Construction Commission for 2022 and Key Points for Work in 2023" and the "Three Year Action Plan for Regulatory Detailed Planning of the Capital Functional Core Area (2023-2025)".
