Approaching Sanxingdui and experiencing the procuratorial power in cultural relic protection
2023-06-27
The Sanxingdui Museum recently issued a notice stating that due to the need for the exhibition of the new museum, its opening to the public will be suspended from June 20th, and the resumption time will be notified separately. Many tourists regret this and were unable to catch a glimpse of the "fragrant appearance" of Sanxingdui. In order to dispel everyone's doubts and make up for their regrets, the reporter from "Fang Yuan" recently walked into the museum to take a look at the magnificent cultural heritage site. What is Sanxingdui? For whom does it come? And for whom? I'm afraid this is a mystery that archaeologists can't solve. However, when we step onto the ruins of Sanxingdui with our feet, when we see the Silkworm Cong with "Shu Marquis Silkworm Cong, whose eyes are vertical, and who claims to be the king", and when we see the divine bird representing the sun in the sky inhabiting the bronze divine tree, the world truly begins to understand how the once "sleeping" Sanxingdui has shone with the brilliant light of civilization. As the saying goes, after sleeping for three thousand years, one wakes up and startles the world. From the three small earthen mounds known as "Dui Dui Er" by locals to the historical and cultural heritage representing the brilliant ancient Shu civilization, Sanxingdui has gradually "awakened" and poured countless people's efforts and strength into it. Entering the Sanxingdui Museum located in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, despite the surging crowds and stuffy air, reporters can still feel the uniqueness and mystery of Sanxingdui from the displayed cultural relics. And these Sanxingdui cultural relics restoration personnel, who have been in close contact with cultural relics day and night, have endless words about their feelings and experiences of "I am repairing cultural relics in Sanxingdui". At present, our main task is to clean up some newly unearthed cultural relics from the 3rd to 8th sacrificial pits, and to carry out daily maintenance, monitoring, and upkeep of the newly unearthed ivory. I have always believed that in my more than 10 years of cultural relic restoration career, being able to participate in the excavation of the Sanxingdui sacrificial pit is the most proud thing. "Sanxingdui cultural relic restoration worker Yang Ping admitted to reporters that his most memorable job was, It is to extract the 'Great Mask' from the sacrificial pit. Because this artifact has a relatively large shape and a complex burial environment, there are also ivory and other bronze artifacts around it. So before extracting, everyone had several discussions before developing a comprehensive extraction plan, and ultimately achieved the perfect extraction of cultural relics through relatively simple methods. The restoration of cultural relics in Sanxingdui is a form of protection, and the protection of the site is particularly important. At present, there are two aspects of protection around Sanxingdui. On the one hand, we focus on movable cultural relics, such as using security measures such as technical defense and civil defense to protect some of the excavated cultural relics. On the other hand, we need to prevent theft, destruction, and illegal construction of immovable parts such as the ruins. To this end, we have not only led the establishment of a patrol team of cultural relics guards in the village, but also specialized public security organs The cultural protection squadron of the gate will jointly strengthen patrols of the entire site area to eliminate possible illegal and irregular phenomena. However, due to the fact that only sacrificial pits have been excavated in Sanxingdui and no tombs have been found yet, there have been no incidents of illegal excavation or mining for many years Xiao Can, Minister of Scenic Area and Site Management Department of Sanxingdui Management Committee, introduced to reporters. In Yang Ping's view, protecting cultural relics not only requires constraining everyone's behavior from a moral perspective, but most importantly, starting from a legal perspective and making cultural relic protection more scientific through legislation
