At the meeting, Zhong Xinzhang, the head of the relevant departments of the Central United Front Work Department and the deputy director of the Ethnic religion Affairs Commission of Zhejiang Province, and Master Minghai, the deputy chairman of the Buddhist Association of China, made a speech. Master Guangquan, the deputy secretary-general of the Buddhist Association of China and the director of the 10th Council Buddhist Education Committee, made a summary speech. Master Xianzong, the deputy chairman of the Zhejiang Buddhist Association and the deputy director of the Education Special Committee, delivered a speech. Minghai pointed out that developing Buddhism education and doing a good job in talent training is a major strategic task to lay the foundation, manage the root and benefit the long-term in the process of promoting the Chinese history of Buddhism in the new era, and it is also a key work for the Buddhist community to study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress. Vice President Minghai emphasized that we must always adhere to the correct direction of cultivating Buddhist talents, adhere to the "four standards" for religious talents, and widely carry out education on loving the Party, patriotism, and socialism, as well as the "four histories" learning activities. We will adhere to the direction of Sinicization of Buddhism throughout the entire process of talent cultivation; Efforts should be made to strengthen the self construction of Buddhist colleges and universities, innovate ways and means of complementing the advantages of traditional jungle education and modern college education, promote the high-quality development and distinctive operation of Buddhist colleges and universities, carry out teacher qualification certification in an orderly manner according to regulations, and promote the popularization and normalization of professional title evaluation, appointment, and degree awarding work in Buddhist colleges and universities; We should actively improve the Buddhist talent training system, cultivate and leverage the educational functions of monasteries and monasteries, actively explore the rational division of labor and organic connection between temple education and institutional education, actively utilize national education resources, enrich Buddhist education resources and strength, and make due contributions to promoting the high-quality development of Buddhist education, strengthening the construction of representative personnel in the Buddhist community, and strengthening the support of Buddhist Chinese style talents. Zhong Xinzhang proposed three suggestions for developing Buddhist education and promoting the healthy inheritance of Buddhism: firstly, we must always adhere to the direction of Sinicization of Buddhism. Secondly, we must shoulder the responsibility of talent cultivation. Thirdly, we must comprehensively promote strict governance of education. The head of the relevant departments of the Central United Front Work Department has affirmed the work of the Buddhist Education Committee, and he hopes that the Buddhist Education Committee will seriously implement the "Management Measures for Religious Institutions"
