On the morning of June 20th local time, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council co chaired the seventh round of Sino German government consultations with German Chancellor Schultz at the Berlin Prime Minister's Office. The two prime ministers listened to reports from the heads of 22 departments, including diplomacy, economy and trade, industry, finance, justice, transportation, education, technology, health, environmental protection, and development, on the progress of promoting cooperation between China and Germany in relevant fields. Li Qiang stated that this consultation is efficient and pragmatic, and has achieved fruitful results. Under the current situation, China and Germany should work together more closely to make more contributions to world peace and development, play a "stabilizer" role in changing circumstances, and accelerate the construction of a Community of Common Destiny. Both sides should seize the opportunity of green transformation and promote the improvement and upgrading of cooperation. China advocates that China and Germany become "green peers" partners, strengthen communication and coordination on green, environmental protection and other issues, promote green energy technology research and development, industrial technology upgrading, and deepen cooperation in new energy vehicles, green finance, third-party markets and other fields. We must adhere to a pragmatic and open attitude, and better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. We need to strengthen global economic governance cooperation, ensure the stability of the international industrial and supply chains, and promote the early recovery of the world economy. Schultz stated that the government consultation mechanism reflects the special importance of Germany China relations. The German side is willing to maintain close communication with China on all issues between the two countries and jointly address global challenges such as climate change, food security, and debt issues. Germany and China have close economic and trade ties and two-way investment. Germany has no intention of decoupling from China and is willing to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with China to promote world development and prosperity. Both sides unanimously believe that the foundation of Sino German cooperation is solid and full of vitality. Deepening cooperation at a higher level, with higher standards and higher quality, and jointly maintaining the stability of the global production and supply chain is in the interests of both countries and of great global significance. The two sides agreed to establish a dialogue and cooperation mechanism on climate change and green transformation, hold the third China Germany high-level financial dialogue, the new China Germany environmental forum and health dialogue, and continue to deepen cooperation in economy and trade, investment, automobile manufacturing, high-tech, new energy, digital economy, people to people and cultural exchanges and other fields. After the consultation, the two prime ministers jointly witnessed the signing of multiple bilateral cooperation documents in areas such as addressing climate change, innovation, advanced manufacturing, vocational education, and met with reporters. Before the seventh round of Sino German government consultations, Li Qiang held talks with Schultz. Li Qiang pointed out that after more than half a century of development, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Germany has achieved today's results, which is not easy and has brought tangible benefits to the two peoples. I hope that the German side will continue to maintain an open mindset, adhere to independence and autonomy, and properly handle relevant issues based on international rules and the spirit of contract. Both sides should vigorously enhance the facilitation of personnel exchanges and strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries. China proposes to take addressing climate change as one of the guiding principles for future Sino German cooperation, promote green technology and industrial cooperation, and explore the establishment of a reasonable and orderly division of labor pattern in the green energy industry chain. Schultz said that Germany welcomes China's development and prosperity and opposes any form of decoupling. De risk is not "De-Sinicization". The German side is committed to developing stable relations with China and is willing to further strengthen bilateral exchanges, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and reach more cooperative consensus in areas such as addressing climate change and green development.
