The basic Educational stage is the decisive stage to "incubate" students' scientific spirit and innovative quality. To further strengthen science education in primary and secondary schools is both realistic and forward-looking. Reducing the burden of homework and off campus training for students in the compulsory Educational stage and strengthening science education in primary and secondary schools are all for the better realization of quality education. What is reduced is unnecessary additional burden, while what is added is essential qualities for students. From an individual perspective, in an era of rapid progress in science and technology, every citizen should have certain Scientific literacy. From a national perspective, science and technology are increasingly becoming the main driving force for economic and social development, and science education is an important foundation for enhancing the country's scientific and technological competitiveness, cultivating innovative talents, and improving the scientific literacy of the entire population. Therefore, cultivating young people's interest in science from an early age is beneficial and necessary for both the country and the people. In recent years, the level and quality of science education among primary and secondary school students in China have continued to improve, and significant achievements have been made in science education for adolescents. The latest national monitoring of the quality of compulsory education shows that primary and secondary school students have overall good academic performance in science, with about 80% of students reaching the intermediate or above level. However, it is also important to be aware that there are still problems and shortcomings in China's science education, such as overall weak foundation, uneven regional development, and ineffective integration of science education resources, which urgently need to be strengthened and improved. Improving students' scientific literacy comprehensively is a systematic project. Science education involves both on and off campus, in and out of class, and related resources are scattered across various departments, fields, and industries. It requires joint efforts and management from all parties. On the one hand, we need to accelerate the filling of shortcomings and continue to make efforts in improving the curriculum and textbook system, deepening school teaching reform, expanding scientific practice activities, incorporating after-school service projects, and strengthening the construction of the teaching staff. On the other hand, it is necessary to revitalize resources from all aspects, mobilize all sectors of society to participate and provide resources and courses, promote the organic connection between the main positions of primary and secondary science education schools and the social classroom, and form a mechanism for the whole society to attach importance to, care for, and support science education. In addition, we need to attach great importance to the assistance and foundation work of science education, ensuring that weak areas, schools, and special groups of children are "indispensable" in science education.
