On the afternoon of June 18th, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council left Beijing on a chartered flight. At the invitation of German Chancellor Schultz and the French government, he went to Germany for the seventh round of Sino German government consultations and an official visit to Germany. He also paid an official visit to France and attended the New Global Financing Compact Summit. Wu Zhenglong, State councillor and Secretary General of the State Council, and other accompanying personnel left Beijing on the same plane. On the evening of the 18th local time, Li Qiang's chartered plane arrived at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The ceremonial soldiers lined up on both sides of the red carpet to pay tribute, and representatives of the German government and Chinese Ambassador to Germany, Wu Zhen, greeted them at the airport. Li Qiang stated that Germany is the first stop of my first visit since taking office as the Premier of the Chinese State Council. This will be a journey of inheriting friendship and deepening cooperation. In recent years, China–Germany relations have always been moving forward steadily, and bilateral cooperation has continued to deepen and expand. The two sides have constantly achieved new results in cooperation in economy and trade, science and technology, humanities, green and other fields. Li Qiang pointed out that the seventh round of China Germany government consultations is the first comprehensive docking between the two countries after the formation of a new government. China is willing to have frank and in-depth exchanges with Germany based on the principles of mutual respect, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and mutual benefit and win-win results, deeply tap into cooperation potential, properly address differences and differences, enrich the connotation of a comprehensive strategic partnership, and send a positive and powerful signal to maintain the stability of the international supply chain and world peace and prosperity.
