The 32nd batch of Chinese medical teams assisting Equatorial Guinea held a free clinic on the 17th at Bata Medical Point in the outskirts of Kogo City, Coastal Province, Equatorial Guinea, providing medical services to local residents and employees of Chinese enterprises. In the free consultation activity, 8 medical team doctors from departments such as internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and ophthalmology provided free diagnosis and treatment services for approximately 300 people. In addition, the organizer of the event, China Road and Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd.'s Equatorial Guinea office, also donated daily necessities such as rice, flour, and edible oil to local residents. Chinese Consul General Chen Yong said at the event that China and Equatorial Guinea are good friends, good partners, and good brothers. The cooperation between the two sides has yielded fruitful results and brought tangible benefits to the two peoples. Since 1971, the Chinese government has continuously dispatched medical teams to Equatorial Guinea. The medical teams have always been witnesses, participants, and contributors to the friendship between the two countries, receiving high praise from all parties and making positive contributions to building a Sino African health community. Li Feng, the head of the Bata Medical Station where the medical team is located, said that the health situation in Africa is poor and the medical conditions are backward. He hopes to serve the local people wholeheartedly with good medical skills and fulfill the original intention and mission of relieving the suffering of the local people. In July 2022, 25 members of the 32nd batch of Chinese medical teams assisting Equatorial Guinea arrived in Equatorial Guinea for a term of one and a half years.
