The collection of works for this biennial exhibition started in March 2021, with a total of 1465 people from various regions of China, as well as countries and regions such as Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Japan, etc. registering for 1946 works (790 sculptures and 1156 artifacts), an increase of 550 people and 616 pieces compared to the first edition. After professional evaluations such as online preliminary evaluation and on-site re evaluation, 47 works were selected from 265 shortlisted works, including 1 special prize, 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards, 10 bronze awards, and 30 excellent awards. In order to encourage the innovation of traditional ceramic art, the event also added awards such as the Craft Inheritance Award, Craft Innovation Award, and Jury Special Award. The total prize money for this biennial exhibition is as high as 1.19 million yuan, including a special prize prize of 280000 yuan. It is reported that 265 shortlisted works will be exhibited at the Dehua Convention and Exhibition Center from now on, and will continue until July 5th. The types of exhibited works cover all categories of traditional Chinese ceramic handicrafts, presenting a rich and colorful appearance of traditional Chinese ceramic art.
