On June 15, the 29th Beijing International Book Fair opened at the National Convention Center in Beijing. The exhibition area of the Expo is 51900 square meters, which is divided into domestic exhibition area, overseas exhibition area, online publishing exhibition area and Beijing International Book Festival exhibition area. The Democratic People's republic is the guest of honor. More than 2500 exhibitors from 56 countries and regions participated offline and online, exhibiting over 200000 books. 14 countries, including Germany and Greece, have set up national booths in the overseas exhibition area of the Expo. More than 50 international large publishing institutions, such as Elsevier and John Wiley, have participated offline, showcasing high-quality foreign language books representing the outstanding achievements of civilization in various countries. Enterprises such as NetEase and Tencent focus on showcasing the achievements of new publishing formats such as online literature and online games in the online publishing exhibition area. The Beijing International Book Festival will be held in conjunction with the China International Book Fair, showcasing and selling Beijing edition books. The Expo also held over 1000 publishing and exchange activities, including online publishing development forums, boutique publications exhibitions, reading promotion, and theme releases. This edition of the China National Press and Publication Administration, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the Chinese Writers' Association, and the Chinese Publishing Association will host a 4-day exhibition.
