After 15 days and nights, with a total voyage of over 3090 nautical miles, on the morning of June 14th, our naval fleet, which participated in the "Komodo 2023" multinational maritime joint exercise in Indonesia, returned to a military port in Zhanjiang after completing various tasks. From June 5 to 8, the naval fleet of our navy, consisting of the Guided-missile destroyer Zhanjiang and the missile Corvette Xuchang, together with more than 40 ships from Indonesia, the United States, Russia, Singapore, Pakistan and other countries, participated in the joint maritime exercise. During the exercise, the officers and men of our naval fleet participated in international fleet review, civil engineering, civil medical treatment, culture and naval band display and other exchange activities, and completed live exercises at the sea stage with multinational naval vessels. With excellent military quality and good style, they conveyed their sincere willingness to love peace and cherish friendship, and improved their ability to respond to natural disasters, maritime threats and provide humanitarian assistance. The joint exercise has strengthened communication and mutual trust among multiple navies, effectively promoted mutual respect and cooperation among all parties, and contributed to the construction of a maritime community with a shared future. According to the formation commander, this year is the fourth "Comodo" multinational maritime joint exercise. In this exercise, I participated in friendly exchanges with multiple navies, demonstrating a positive image of openness and confidence, especially by integrating traditional Chinese culture, peace and development concepts into the exchange activities, winning the understanding and emotional resonance of naval officers and soldiers from various countries, and achieving the goal of promoting communication and enhancing mutual trust. After completing the exercise, the formation persisted in sailing and training all the way back, completing narrow channel navigation, duty officer training, and combat exercises in various backgrounds, effectively testing the ability of the troops to carry out mission tasks.
