At the opening ceremony, Gongbei Customs, on behalf of the General Administration of Customs, issued the "Comprehensive Bonded Zone Acceptance Certificate" to the Zhuhai Municipal Government, marking the official acceptance of the Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone by national ministries such as the General Administration of Customs. On site, the People's Government of Jinwan District signed an investment agreement with the first batch of projects entering the park. The container truck carrying electronic products drives into the main checkpoint of Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone. After automatic recognition and comparison by the intelligent checkpoint system, the vehicle quickly enters the area through the checkpoint. The smooth customs clearance of the first shipment marks the official closure and operation of the Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, entering a substantive operational stage. The Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone is located in the Jinwan District at the southwest end of Zhuhai, with a planned area of 2.514 square kilometers and a three-dimensional transportation system of "land, sea, air, and rail". According to the plan, the Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone will focus on developing bonded logistics, bonded processing, bonded maintenance and other business formats, focusing on building "one center, two bases, and four platforms" to promote the development of an export-oriented economy. The park will support enterprises entering the park to expand their import business in various types and new formats, and promote the development of emerging businesses such as international transit, international distribution, international procurement, and international transit trade.
