The American Space Exploration Technology Company's cargo "Dragon" spacecraft was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on the 5th to deliver scientific research equipment and supplies for the International Space Station. At 11:47 a.m. EDT on the 5th (23:47 p.m. Beijing time on the 5th), the cargo "Dragon" spacecraft took off from Launch Pad 39A of Kennedy Space Center on the "Falcon 9" rocket. Subsequently, the spacecraft and rocket separated smoothly and continued to fly to the International Space Station. The first stage of the rocket successfully landed on a recovery ship in the Atlantic Ocean. According to the plan, the cargo "Dragon" spacecraft will automatically dock with the International Space Station at 5:50 Eastern Time on the 6th (17:50 Beijing Time on the 6th). This is the 28th time that Space Exploration Technology has conducted a supply mission for the International Space Station for NASA. According to NASA, the research equipment carried by the spacecraft includes equipment for studying the impact of space environment on plants, as well as satellite project deployment equipment designed by Canada.
