On June 2nd local time, the 13th batch of Chinese peacekeeping engineering teams to South Sudan (Wau) jointly held a cultural exchange event with the Bangladesh peacekeeping infantry battalion. The commander of the Western Theater Command of the Southern Soviet Union and relevant officials from the Wawu Base of the Southern Soviet Union were invited to attend. At the exchange event, a display board that tells the story of the Bangladeshi child Alifa Qin attracted peacekeeping officers and soldiers from both sides to stop and watch. Officials and soldiers stated that Qin's personal experience is a vivid portrayal of China Bangladesh friendship. During the exchange activities, I performed dragon and lion dances, martial arts and other programs for peacekeeping officers and soldiers. Bangladesh peacekeeping officers and soldiers also presented multiple exciting programs. Both sides also held basketball friendly matches and tug of war matches. China, Bangladesh, and Wei have always cooperated closely with their officers and soldiers in the mission area. Not long ago, our peacekeeping engineering team completed the repair task of the 66km supply line from Sop to Laga with high standards, and the officers and soldiers of the Bangladesh peacekeeping infantry battalion were responsible for safety protection throughout the entire process.
