On the morning of May 30th, PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Company's Shendi Taco 1 well was drilled into the ground. The drilling of Well SDTK-1 is a historic moment of China's deep geological engineering, which aims to explore the ten thousand meter level ultra deep geological and engineering science theory, marking a new major breakthrough in China's deep exploration technology series, and opening the "ten thousand meter era" of drilling capacity. The well is located in Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, adjacent to a super deep oil and gas area with a burial depth of 8000 meters and a capacity of over 1 billion tons. This well is designed with a depth of 11100 meters and a drilling and completion period of 457 days, which will set the world's fastest record for drilling a 10000 meter deep well. A deep belt brings ten thousand difficulties. Generally speaking, in the industry, wells ranging from 4500 to 6000 meters are classified as deep wells, wells ranging from 6000 to 9000 meters are classified as ultra deep wells, and wells exceeding 9000 meters are classified as ultra deep wells. Ultra deep well drilling is the field with the most bottlenecks and challenges in oil and gas engineering technology. As the main battlefield for deep oil and gas exploration and development in China, Tarim Oilfield highlights innovation and continuously challenges the "rare in the world and unique in China" exploration and development technology challenges of ultra-deep, high-temperature, high-pressure, and high sulfur "one ultra three high", forging the core technology of "deep engineering". Entering the depths of tens of thousands of meters is the dream of several generations of oil workers. It is worth noting that the well is equipped with the world's first 12000 meter ultra deep automated drilling rig independently developed by China. Compared with ordinary drilling rigs, the lifting capacity of this rig has increased from three to four hundred tons to a maximum of 900 tons, equivalent to being able to simultaneously lift 150 adult elephants weighing six tons. In order to ensure the "completion, fast drilling, and good drilling" of the 10000 meter level ultra deep well, China Petroleum has researched and developed a batch of key core technology equipment such as an intelligent control integrated platform, independent decision-making industrial control system for drilling, and ultra-high and heavy-duty mast base. It has independently developed internationally leading intelligent drilling rigs and successfully produced 12000 meter ultra deep well automated drilling rigs, providing equipment and technical support for scientific exploration and research of the 10000 meter deep geological engineering. The Tarim Basin is the largest deep oil and gas enrichment area in China, with rich oil and gas resources and huge exploration potential. At present, Tarim Oilfield is anchoring the strategic goal of building China's largest ultra deep oil and gas field in an all-round way, taking the lead in building a world-class oil and gas field with Chinese path to modernization, constantly challenging the deep geological limit, implementing two trillion cubic meter atmospheric areas of Kela Keshen and Bozi Dabei, and a large oil and gas area rich in 1 billion tons, and successfully drilling 95 "underground Everest" exceeding 8000 meters.
