The 2023 Venice International Architecture Biennale China National Pavilion held its opening event in Venice, Italy on the 22nd, showcasing the changes and improvements in Chinese architecture and living environment over the past 40 years. The theme of this exhibition at the China National Pavilion is "Renewal · Symbiosis", which will showcase the design achievements and concepts of Chinese designers integrating residents with nature, tradition with modernity. Ruan Xin, curator of the China National Pavilion and dean of the School of Design at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, said that the purpose of this exhibition is to showcase China's significant achievements in urban, architectural, and residential life, especially in improving livability, over the past 40 years of reform and opening up.
