On May 20, the sub forum of "Seeking Her in All" women scientists, sponsored by the 2023 Great Bay Area Science Forum, directed by the All China Women's Federation, co sponsored by the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Guangdong Women's Federation, and supported by the Guangdong Federation of Women Scientists and Technologists, was held in Nansha, Guangzhou. As one of the new links of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum, the "Zhongli Seeking Her" Women Scientists Sub Forum focuses on the theme of "Her Wisdom, Illuminating the Light of Technology", aiming to build a high-end platform for communication and dialogue among female technology workers, showcase their new missions, responsibilities, and achievements in the new era, and contribute to the technological innovation of the Greater Bay Area. More than 100 experts, scholars, and entrepreneur representatives from fields such as computer and software, industrial manufacturing, energy materials, biomedical, geographic environment, public health, and mental health participated in the discussion of the sub forum. Fu Xiaolan, Director of the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, pointed out in his speech that although the road to science is bumpy, generations of female scientific researchers have persevered, breaking through obstacles, challenging difficulties and making remarkable achievements. She hopes that the majority of technological women will not forget their original aspirations and mission, continue to provide support for the implementation of major national strategies and the development of social undertakings, resonate with the development of the Party and the country, and contribute wisdom and strength to the journey of national rejuvenation. Fang Saimei, a member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Women's Federation, stated that holding the "Searching for Her in the Crowd" Women's Scientists Sub Forum is a crucial measure to further stimulate the innovative vitality of female scientific and technological talents, showcase their "wisdom" in achieving high-level technological self-reliance and building a world science and technology powerhouse. It is of great significance and inspiring! She sends a message to the vast number of female scientific and technological workers on the path of technological innovation, who cherish their motherland, overcome difficulties, dare to be the first, strive to become builders of great causes, advocates of civilization and fashion, and pioneers who dare to pursue their dreams, and play a "half sky" role in building a technological power. Du Lan, president of Guangdong Artificial Intelligence Industry Association and executive director of the Pearl River Investment Management Group, pointed out in his speech that the digital economy has become the most critical source of power for the global economic recovery and a new driving force for China's economic growth. She looks forward to working with female technology workers to leverage their strengths, take proactive actions, and work together to inject female strength and warmth into the development of technology in the digital economy era. In the morning of the same day, four outstanding women in different fields made a keynote speech to jointly convey their concern for the growth of women in science and technology, so as to encourage more young women to engage in scientific and technological work. Zheng Xiaoying, president of PKU-APEC Institute of Health Sciences (PKU-APECHeSAY) and academician of the The World Academy of Sciences, published a keynote report with the theme of "women's scientific and technological initiative promotion and empowerment", analyzed and studied the development status of women's scientific and technological life cycle in countries along the "the Belt and Road" and many factors affecting women's scientific and technological initiative, and shared countermeasures and plans. Zhang Linxiu, Director of the United Nations Environment Programme International Ecosystem Management Partnership Program (UNEP-IEMP) and academician of the The World Academy of Sciences, presented a keynote report on "unleashing women's energy and promoting sustainable development".
