According to customs statistics, the average annual growth rate of trade between China and Central and Eastern European countries is 8.1%, especially in the field of agricultural food product trade. From January to April this year, the import and export of agricultural food products reached 720 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 34%. The 3rd China Central and Eastern European Countries Expo and International Consumer Goods Expo opened in Ningbo, Zhejiang on the 16th. As a supporting event for the Expo, at the 6th China Central and Eastern European Countries Customs Inspection and Quarantine Cooperation Dialogue jointly organized by the General Administration of Customs and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, the reporter learned about the relevant data. During this period, in order to build a "green channel" for the export of goods from Central and Eastern European countries to China, the General Administration of Customs held exchanges and dialogues with the customs and inspection and quarantine authorities of 13 Central and Eastern European countries, representatives of embassies in China, as well as business and academic guests, on promoting the access of agricultural and food products from Central and Eastern European countries and facilitating customs clearance of goods. It is reported that the "Green Channel for Exporting Central and Eastern European Commodities to China" created by the customs department for Central and Eastern European countries is conducive to promoting the sharing of opportunities in the Chinese market, institutional opening up, and deepening international cooperation among all parties. The specific measures planned to be launched include: promoting the quarantine and access of high-quality agricultural and food products, supporting the introduction of excellent animal and plant germplasm resources, optimizing the requirements and models for import commodity inspection and supervision, Establish a fast inspection channel for imported fresh and perishable agricultural and food products, improve the construction level of the "China Central and Eastern European Customs Information Center", and launch the smart application of "One thing for Central and Eastern European Commodity Import Clearance". Wang Lingjun, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs, stated that China Customs will actively promote the facilitation cooperation of "smart customs, smart borders, and smart connectivity" with customs of Central and Eastern European countries, accelerate the access process of agricultural and food products from Central and Eastern Europe to China, promote the stability and smoothness of the international supply chain, and promote the recovery and development of global economy and trade after the epidemic.
