Wang Yi Holds a Meeting with US President's Assistant for National Security Affairs Sullivan

From May 10th to 11th local time, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Committee, met with US President's Assistant for National Security Affairs Sullivan in Vienna, Austria. Both sides had a frank, in-depth, substantive, and constructive discussion on promoting the removal of obstacles and stabilization of China US relations. Wang Yi comprehensively elaborated on China's solemn stance on the Taiwan issue. Both sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern such as the Asia Pacific situation and Ukraine.
