It is understood that the completion acceptance of engineering projects is the last step in the entire process of engineering construction, and it is the final step to comprehensively evaluate the results of engineering construction, check whether the engineering construction meets design requirements and engineering quality. The acceptance team unanimously believes that the "Hualong No.1" global first reactor demonstration project has been fully completed, and all indicators of the project meet the design requirements, forming a complete and independent third generation nuclear power model standard system for China, enhancing the global competitiveness of China's nuclear power, playing an important role in optimizing China's energy structure, promoting green and low-carbon development, and providing good reference for the subsequent batch construction projects of "Hualong No.1". According to the relevant person in charge of CNNC Group, "Hualong No.1" is the innovative achievement of the third-generation pressurized water reactor nuclear power with fully independent intellectual property rights developed by China on the basis of more than 30 years of experience in nuclear power research, design, manufacturing, construction and operation, and its technical indicators have reached the international advanced level. In 2015, the global first demonstration project of "Hualong No.1" began construction in Fuqing, Fujian. In 2022, the world's first demonstration project of "Hualong No.1" will be fully completed. Since its operation, Units 5 and 6 of Fuqing Nuclear Power have fully experienced the first fuel cycle test. As of now, the two units of the "Hualong No.1" global first demonstration project have an annual power generation capacity of 20 billion kilowatt hours, which is equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by 6.24 million tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 16.32 million tons per year.
