It is reported that on the basis of thorough research and extensive solicitation of opinions, the State Administration for Market Regulation, in conjunction with the Ministry of Commerce, has drafted the "Guiding Opinions on Effectively Preventing Takeaway Food Waste by Utilizing the Leading and Driving Role of Online Catering Platforms", proposing 10 measures from optimizing the supply structure of food products, optimizing the display of food information, strengthening full process consumption reminders, and optimizing platform rules and agreements, Promote the establishment of a long-term mechanism to prevent food waste during takeout. Pang Jin stated that the Anti Food Waste Law clarifies the legal obligation of online catering platforms to combat food waste, and the State Administration of Market Regulation guides the platform to play a demonstration and leading role, achieving positive results. Guide online catering platforms to set appropriate ordering reminders throughout the entire process of ordering, submitting orders, and completing orders; Actively optimizing the structure of food supply, setting up a "small portion" zone to vigorously promote small portion meals; Establish a sound positive incentive mechanism to provide traffic support for merchants participating in the supply of "small dishes" and "small meals", and provide incentive subsidies for consumers to place orders to purchase green consumption behaviors such as "small dishes" and "small meals".
