On May 1, 2021, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Public Security officially opened the "Director's mailbox", promoting the establishment of "Director's mailbox" in 21 local and municipal public security bureaus across the province, collectively known as the "Ping An Department mailbox", making good use of online channels and widely listening to the voices of the masses. During the process of receiving and handling letters, the public security organs in Guangdong Province solved 83000 urgent and anxious issues for the public, and received 14000 thank-you letters; A total of 16000 reporting clues were received, 6629 cases were solved, and more than 11000 illegal suspect were captured; By sorting and analyzing letters, timely eliminating a group of risks and hidden dangers that affect social stability, rectifying a group of law enforcement issues that have received strong feedback from the public, and promoting the introduction of 212 new mechanisms covering various aspects such as receiving and handling police, receiving cases, administrative services, and team management.
