The 55th APEC Working Group Meeting on Small and Medium Enterprises has concluded in Hong Kong

The 55th APEC Small and Medium sized Enterprise Working Group Meeting, which lasted for two days, ended in Hong Kong on the 5th. During the meeting, about 100 representatives of APEC member economies and other participants exchanged ideas on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and had constructive discussions on the strategic plan of the working group to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Asia Pacific region. The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Qiu Yinghua, said that given the new challenges and uncertainties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in the future, the efforts of the working group are even more indispensable. In the constantly changing business environment, small and medium-sized enterprises still have a lot of opportunities to thrive. Hong Kong has always been committed to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and has organized multiple large-scale international conferences and exhibitions since its return to normal, attracting tens of thousands of business travelers and tourists worldwide. On the 4th, Huang Shaozhu, Director of the Industrial and Trade Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, delivered a welcoming speech stating that as an important pillar of the Asia Pacific region's economy, the vitality and business performance of small and medium-sized enterprises are crucial. The economies of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) firmly support small and medium-sized enterprises, making the entire Asia Pacific region continue to become a vibrant and vibrant hub, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to flourish and share prosperity. The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) has 21 member economies, and the Small and Medium sized Enterprise Working Group provides an exchange platform for each member economy to promote the sustainable, inclusive, and innovative development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
