Bashar congratulated China on successfully mediating the resumption of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, believing that the reconciliation between Saudi Arabia and Iran will have a significant positive impact on the international landscape and regional situation. Syria thanks China for its active work in promoting Syria's improvement of relations with other Arab countries, and welcomes China to play a greater role in maintaining regional peace and stability. The 2021 China Syria summit provides strategic guidance and injects strong momentum into the development of China Syria relations.
