Its hydrogen engine models also appeared on the exhibition stand during the auto show. In Japan, electric vehicles include hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, etc., while electric vehicles refer to pure electric vehicles that are completely powered by charging. Sato stated that on the one hand, Toyota will effectively promote the popularization of mature electric vehicles, strengthen hybrid vehicle sales in global markets, including emerging markets, and increase plug-in hybrid vehicle options.
