The survey report on "Characteristics and Protection of Short Video Usage among Primary and Secondary School Students" released by the China Youth Research Center shows that 65.6% of surveyed minors have watched short videos, and 20% of teenagers say they "almost always" watch short videos. Addiction to short videos has become a serious problem faced by some teenagers, affecting their physical and mental health and academic performance.
